Perfect Pizza.

This quick and simple recipe makes a wonderful pizza dough which can be topped with your choice of ingredients. Personally, I think less is more but it's completely up to you. Because this recipe is so quick and easy it's a really fun party activity - make up a couple of batches of the dough, put a variety of toppings in bowls and let your guests get creative!

Makes 6-8 medium sized pizza bases.

Ingredients

1kg strong white bread flour

2 x 7g sachets of dried yeast 1 tablespoon sea salt

1 tablespoon caster sugar

650ml lukewarm water

Method

1. Weigh the flour into a bowl and make a well in the middle.

2. Add the salt, yeast and sugar then pour in the water.

3. Leave for a minute to allow the yeast to activate.

4. Mix with a fork until it form a dough.

5. Then knead the dough for about 10 minutes.

6. Place it back into the bowl, cover it with cling film and leave in a fairly warm place for 15 minutes.

7. When you are ready, split the dough into even pieces and roll into circles about 0.5 cm thick.

8. Then cover with you choice of toppings and cook for 7-10 mins at 250℃ until golden and crispy.
