Marmalade Flapjacks
Marmalade + Flapjacks = Match made in heaven. These are super oaty, deliciously sweet and have a zing that only marmalade can achieve.
Ingredients:
100g butter
100g caster sugar
Finely grated zest of one orange
2 tbsp marmalade
200g porridge oats
Method:
1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
2. Put the butter, sugar, orange zest and marmalade in a saucepan.
3. Set it over a medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the butter melts and the sugar dissolves.
4. Take the saucepan off the heat and add the oats, combining everything thoroughly.
5. Put the mixture into a lined tin.
6. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown.
4. Let the flapjacks cool completely in the tin before removing them.
5. Cut into rectangles and enjoy!
