Birthday Brownies
Who wouldn't love a stack of gooey brownies to celebrate their big day? No wait, don't answer that as it would seriously sadden me to think that there are people out there who would disagree...
These brownies are studded with pistachio nuts for, not only added texture and flavour, but also to make them look wonderful when sliced up as the green dots shine through. If you're catering for a bigger party then the recipe can easily be doubled and if you're not crazy for nuts then feel free to leave them out.

180g dark chocolate
3 large eggs
1 tbsp vanilla extract
110g plain flour
A pinch of salt
150g chopped pistachio nuts
