Terrific Tiffin
Oh how I love summer! Just a few days of sunshine this holiday have enhanced my mood no end (plus it means better lighting for photography)!!
This recipe, albeit simple and quick, is one you'll want to memorise; I made one batch on Friday and by Saturday morning the tin was practically licked clean....I shan't name any names!! Anyway, the point is, it's ridiculously popular around here and is so wonderfully easy to make that it's a win win :)
Ingredients
100g butter
150g golden syrup
150g dark chocolate
150g milk chocolate
70g raisins or glacé cherries
250g digestive biscuits
Method
1. Melt the butter, syrup and chocolate in a saucepan.
2. Add the fruit then take off the heat while you bash the biscuits.
3. Crumble in said biscuits and give it an almighty stir.
4. Pour into a lined (with foil or baking paper) tin and leave to chill in a cool place. (Don't put it in the fridge straight away as it'll still be warm)!
