It seems odd to be writing about a day in Dunwich - a day which on the surface appears like any other Spring day. It seems odd to be posting a series of photos showing England at its finest when most of the country, and most of Europe for that matter, is in complete lockdown. But perhaps if the measures in the UK do become more extreme, looking back on these photos will be a tonic? A reminder of the sunny days to come post-corona. Or perhaps they'll just make indoor isolation even harder..who knows?
We began our walk at the far end of Dunwich beach and, fuelled by fish n chips (take away only), we set off along the shingle towards the nature reserve at the other end. We then headed inland and looped back across the gorse-covered countryside.
