An Ode to Oxford

Updated: Aug 30, 2022

Given that my time here is limited and Oxford will soon become a chapter in the past, I think it deserves a permanent place on the blog. Not strictly 'travel', seeing as libraries and coffee breaks are the name of the game at the moment, but beautiful nonetheless.

Oxford has the best golden hour I've ever witnessed - 4pm on Thursday has been a consistently good time for sunset spotting this term and I'm eagerly awaiting the longer days to come this summer.

Its aesthetic appeal is however, not very conducive to work. Every time the sun comes out, I'm the first out of the library because it's just too good to miss. Luckily Storm Eunice has come to the rescue so I might actually get some work done this weekend. Revision in the summer is another matter...!

Below are some photos from my camera roll recently - along with a billion far off glimpses of Timothée Chalamet and the Wonka film set that Oxford has become. It seems Hollywood and I have the same taste in cities :)
